Privacy Policy
Your privacy is our top priority. Learn how we protect your data and respect your privacy.
All data is stored locally in your browser. We never send your usernames, favorites, or history to our servers.
We don't use analytics, tracking pixels, or any form of user behavior monitoring.
We don't collect names, emails, IP addresses, or any personally identifiable information.
You can clear your data anytime using the clear buttons or your browser's storage settings.
What We Don't Collect
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- IP addresses or location data
- Browser fingerprints or device identifiers
- Usage analytics or behavior tracking
- Generated usernames or search queries
What We Store Locally
- Your favorite usernames (in browser localStorage)
- Generation history (last 200 sessions, in browser localStorage)
- Theme preferences (light/dark mode)
Client-Side Processing
All username generation happens in your browser using JavaScript. No data is sent to our servers during the generation process.
Local Storage Only
Your favorites and history are stored using your browser's localStorage API. This data never leaves your device and is only accessible to you.
No Third-Party Tracking
We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking services. The only external requests are for platform availability checking when you click the platform buttons.
When you click a platform button (Instagram, Twitter, etc.), you're taken directly to that platform's website. We don't intercept or track these visits. Each platform has its own privacy policy that applies when you visit their site.
Supported Platforms
- Instagram (instagram.com)
- X/Twitter (x.com)
- Reddit (reddit.com)
- Twitch (twitch.tv)
- GitHub (github.com)
- YouTube (youtube.com)
- SoundCloud (soundcloud.com)
Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time using the "Clear All" buttons in the Favorites and History sections, or by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site.
Data Export
You can export your favorites as JSON or CSV files at any time. This gives you full control over your data.
Browser Settings
You can disable localStorage in your browser settings if you prefer not to save any data locally. The username generator will still work, but favorites and history won't be saved.
This privacy policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or for legal compliance. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
If you have questions about this privacy policy or our data practices, you can contact us through our GitHub repository or social media channels listed in the footer.
